About the Artist

Hi, I’m Katie Fiorelli, the mind (and hands!) behind Katenip Vintage Whimsy. My process centers on creating whimsical decor sustainably. At least 50% or more of all my materials are sourced second-hand, from places like Indigo Hippo, estate sales and local Buy Nothing groups, which challenges me creatively to create one of a kind items!

I also design and print my own stickers at the library's Makerspace, and my work was featured in Cincinnati Magazine. Whether I'm handcrafting stained glass ornaments with glass pieces sourced from 5 gallon "scrap" buckets or championing LGBTQ+ rights with my stickers I revel in the opportunity to brighten the lives of my customers with colorful, joyful, whimsical items!
