About the Artist

Amari Samya is a Cincinnati-based experiential designer, creative producer, and founder of Selfie Cincy, an immersive content studio and creative production company transforming spaces into interactive experiences.

Her work sits at the intersection of art, culture, storytelling, tourism, and brand experience. Through large-scale installations, photo moments, immersive environments, and community activations, Amari designs spaces that invite audiences to become part of the work, not simply observe it.

Since launching Selfie Cincy in 2023, Amari has expanded the brand beyond its original selfie museum concept into experiential design and production, creating installations and activations for major events, community organizations, corporate partners, and cultural moments throughout Cincinnati.

The Selfie Cincy portfolio in which Amari has spearheaded includes work surrounding Black Tech Week, Cincinnati Music Festival, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity’s 85th Grand Conclave, Midwest Black Family Reunion, and other high-traffic events throughout the Cincinnati region. Her work ranges from custom-fabricated installations and interactive photo environments to branded activations, event concepts, and social-first experiences designed to live both physically and digitally.

A Cincinnati native, Amari is passionate about creating experiences that contribute to the cultural and economic vitality of the city while making art approachable, participatory, and highly shareable.
