About the Artist
Sheridan Davenport is a graphic & experiential designer, fine artist, and art professor at Xavier University. From building brand identities to designing large-scale brand activations, she’s delivered thoughtfully crafted experiences driven by storytelling. With expertise extending beyond traditional design, Sheridan is also a fine artist specializing in mixed media. Her latest piece, “Resonance” is on display at the Cincinnati Convention Center.
Throughout her professional design career, Sheridan has worked with brands across industries, from sports to beauty, nonprofits, and CPG. Over the past five years, she’s helped brands create intentional, engaging experiences that foster genuine connections. Now as a freelancer, she builds brand identities, executes large-scale activations, and delivers thoughtfully crafted experiences driven by intentional design thinking. Her expertise extends beyond design, as she curates experiential campaigns, develops branding systems, and helps businesses transform customer interactions through strategic visuals.
When it comes to fine art, Sheridan channels her eccentricity into compelling visual narratives through both digital, mixed-media and installation art. Her work sparks conversation about the evolving future of design, the evocation of fine art, and how the two worlds converge. Her current series explores abstracted portraiture through colorful, maximalist line work.
