About the Artist

SHANE COPPAGE

Born and raised in Northern Kentucky, Shane Coppage has been creating art in one form or another since a toddler. He began his career as an illustrator, but settled into abstract painting after surviving colon cancer. His current work employs rice paper and collage to parse the autogenic nature of personal history. He has exhibited locally at Art Beyond Boundaries, Artworks, and Cincinnati Art Academy. Coppage lives in Fairfax, OH with his growing family.
