Sandra Washington is a contemporary visual artist and founder of Ecovative Art Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio. Through her work as both an artist and gallerist, she creates original contemporary artwork while developing exhibitions and immersive art experiences that connect artists, collectors and communities. Working primarily in oil, acrylic and mixed media, Sandra creates dimensional and highly texture works that explore emotion, movement, depth and visual storytelling. Her artistic philosophy, "Art is Meant to be Felt as Much as Seen," reflects her approach to create work that invites viewers to experience art beyond the surface.
Her paintings are created with intention for both residential and professional spaces, including private homes,
corporate offices, and curated environments where art becomes a focal point of atmosphere and conversation.
She is available for commissions and large-scale projects, including collaborations with designers and developers.
Sandra envisions her work living in thoughtfully designed interiors, from modern luxury residences to boutique hotels, creative work spaces, and cultural institutions. She is particularly interested in collaborations with interior designers, developers, and hospitality brands seeking original artwork that enhances spatial experience.
In addition to her studio practice, she creates immersive art experiences and exhibitions that engage audiences beyond the canvas, Her work has been recognized by Marquis Who's Who in America since 2023.
