Taking on Mountains is a mural that brings joy and a sense of adventure to the artist's own home. As a mural artist, Nicole sought to infuse her living space with the beauty and wonder of a fictitious mountain range born from her imagination. This mural centers around the largest and tallest peak in the range, which stands as the focal point of the composition.
At the heart of the mural, this majestic mountain peak is seen glowing with radiant hues that mimic the warmth and cool shadowy splendor of a captivating sunset. Adding a personal touch to the mural, Nicole has incorporated two silhouetted hikers positioned in the bottom right corner of the composition. These hikers represent herself and her significant other, Nathan. Both passionate about hiking and enamored with the mountains, Nicole chose to immortalize their shared love for nature and adventure within the mural.
Taking on Mountains not only serves as a stunning visual centerpiece but also encapsulates the spirit of exploration, resilience, and togetherness. It serves as a constant reminder of the couple's shared passions and experiences, fostering a deeper connection to their home and creating a truly special and personalized space. A testament to the power of art in creating a space that is not only visually appealing but also deeply meaningful and emotionally resonant.
Heritage Window is a custom mural that seamlessly blends artistic heritage, familial legacy, and natural beauty. Designed for the artist’s in-laws, the piece honors the family’s distinguished connection to the Tiffany stained glass lineage, descending directly from Louis Comfort Tiffany. As the artist’s own last name is now Tiffany, the mural holds profound personal and symbolic meaning, embodying a shared history and a celebration of family. Inspired by the iconic style of Tiffany stained glass, the mural incorporates vibrant, warm colors and intricate natural elements, all unified by bold black outlines reminiscent of wrought iron in traditional stained glass design.
The composition centers on themes of life, growth, and harmony, with a radiant sun, blooming flowers, and lively birds symbolizing a family in bloom. Heritage Window serves as both a stunning visual centerpiece and reflects the power of art to honor heritage, preserve memories, and foster connection across generations, blending timeless beauty with a deeply personal story.
The Problem: Before I joined Cloverleaf, the company had no dedicated designer—no clear brand direction, no scalable design system, and no strategic visual storytelling to support growth. Design requests were ad hoc, and there was no unified experience across marketing, sales, product, or customer success. Design was in essence a list of color HEX codes and a logo.
The Solution: I built Cloverleaf’s design function from the ground up. Starting as an intern and growing into a leadership role, I transformed design into a strategic powerhouse.
Established a strong, scalable brand with guidelines, a graphic toolkit, streamlined processes, and a cohesive visual identity.
Drove business growth by optimizing marketing, sales, and customer success assets using data-driven design.
Led high-impact creative initiatives that touched every aspect of the business. Spanning marketing campaigns, social content, ebooks, videos & podcasts, billboards, product UX/UI, illustrations, conference & event materials, presentations, murals, and much more.
I didn’t just design assets—I built a brand that drove engagement, sales, and growth.
The Problem: Cincinnati Public Radio (CPR) needed distinct, engaging branding for three shows—Looking Up, Backed Up, and Community Dispatch—that would stand out in a crowded podcast landscape while aligning with NPR’s identity. Each show required a unique look that balanced individuality and network cohesion.
The Solution: I crafted bold, eye-catching branding using colorful, vector illustration to create cohesive yet distinct visual identities.
Looking Up – A modern, playful design capturing space exploration.
Backed Up – Retro 70s aesthetics and bold colors bring energy.
Community Dispatch – Speech bubbles & icons amplify storytelling.
These designs elevate CPR’s programming, entice listeners, and establish lasting brand recognition.
The Problem: The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra needed a fun, engaging way to inspire young students (Grades K-6) at their Young People's Concerts. The challenge was to create an interactive, educational resource that felt vibrant and approachable.
The Solution: I designed Lead the Way!, a colorful, hands-on activity book that transforms musical concepts into a playful learning experience.
Bold geometric shapes & textures reflect how conductors shape music.
Illustrated characters & patterns bring energy and movement to each page.
Interactive design makes music education exciting and accessible.
This immersive booklet helps young audiences connect with music in a fun, meaningful way.
