About the Artist

Artist John Lanzador loves art and is well-versed in making art across a variety of mediums. He's fluent in carving, painting, drawing, design and even working with chalk. Lanzador finds inspiration in outsider art, tattoo shops, botanical illustrations, toys, food, pop art, illuminated manuscripts, comic books and even Mexican lottery bingo cards.

John is an educator who is passionate about working for the greater good. He's collaborated with ArtWorks of Cincinnati, BLDG and Visionaries + Voices on community projects and trained youth apprentices to become part of the vibrant art culture of Cincinnati.

He has created murals with ArtWorks and BLDG, designed beer cans for Esoteric Brewing, designed glasses for Brink Brewing, designed for FC Cincinnati, Artist-In-Residence for the REC in the Cincinnati Art Museum and has exhibited in many galleries, art institutions, including 21c Art Hotel, and the Cincinnati Art Museum.
