About the Artist
Isaac Karns is a musician and producer from Cincinnati, Ohio where he works out of his studio the Marble Garden. He is a multi-instrumentalist and producer whose work fearlessly explores disparate genres while seeking to cultivate an intuitive, childlike sense of creative freedom and collaboration.Bilateral Songs: Music for EEF Modulation Vol. 1
Bilateral Songs Vol. 1 is a new album of songs that incorporate bilateral stimulation that can be used both in therapy settings and for personal use. The genesis for this project began after Isaac was approached by Steph Ryall LPC, NCC, BCN, QEEG-DL about composing new music for use in her practice, with the goal of modulating brain states while listening. Each song encourages the production of specific brain waves through musical elements that alternate polarity between the left and right channels at specific rhythmic intervals, otherwise known as bilateral stimulation or dichotic listening. This album was written with the intent to foster reflection, restfulness and space to think and feel differently.
