About the Artist

Dan Van Vechten is a folky singer/songwriter who will play songs ranging from folk to country to anything that may be on the radio, plus of course songs of his own in the mix. Influences include country old timers like Willie Nelson and Kristofferson and folky old timers like Paul Simon and John Prine. His relaxed, mellow delivery always makes for a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. Dan plays acoustic guitar and sings, but is often joined by Hank Becker on banjo and Chris Werner on bass to form the Dan Van Vechten Trio.
