Ciara LeRoy is a multidisciplinary artist and designer specializing in text-based works. A lifelong love of media informs the eye-catching, color-saturated, and message-based nature of most of her work. Her pieces often jump sporadically between a range of subjects and feelings–echoing the experience of browsing through a smartphone, magazine, or channels on a television. In an age of continuous scrolling & shortened attention spans, the densely-patterned and color-soaked presentation of her work is meant to entice the viewer forward in an invitation to explore something deeper. Her work is meticulously crafted and visually intriguing, but also deeply thoughtful and socially aware. She is passionate about connecting art with community development and using creativity to build conversational bridges.
Her work has been featured by Insider, Better Homes & Gardens, and Frankie Magazine and some of her past clients & collaborators include Penguin Random House, Madewell, Boxed Water, and Uncommon Goods. Ciara has exhibited at several galleries in the South & Midwest, including the Lexington Art League and Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center in Lexington, Kentucky, and the Contemporary Arts Center and Kennedy Heights Arts Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
