I am a maker and a painter and I feel most myself when deep in the process of creating something new. I studied Fine Arts at Berea College, graduating with a degree in Painting and Fibers, and spent the next ten years drawing, collaging, embroidering, and more. In 2024, I took up my paintbrush once more and began focusing on portraiture in oil. My paintings have been shown at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center's 2025 Golden Ticket show and its 2026 New Woman show. In addition to my fine art practice, I paint wall murals, make odd things out of cardboard (like a multi-level kitty cottage for my two cats), embroider, and knit.
