About the Artist
I'm a Cincinnati-based DJ and electronic musician. As a DJ, I work across dub, dub-techno, and world music; as a musician, I create experimental electronic work under my own name and as Against Interpretation, drawing on electroacoustic composition, field recording, and digital media.
Born in 1973, I've lived and worked internationally. My current practice reflects an ongoing interest in texture, rhythm, and the intersection of vernacular and experimental sound.
I'm also an arts administrator and curator, currently serving as the executive director of Wave Pool in Camp Washington.
