About the Artist

Ben is a writer and performer living in Cincinnati. He is the Executive Director at Ben & Justin Present, a small production company that produces live theater and digital content.

Ben has written and performed in the Cincinnati Fringe Festival since 2023 in works such as "Waiting for Laura" and "1 Gay Wedding and Absolutely No Funerals" (Audience Pick of the Fringe). He also wrote "She Stayed: A Ghost Story" for a 24-hour playwriting competition with American Legacy Theater (2nd place) and "Lightbulb" which premiered in New York back in 2016.

Coming up, Ben has written an Act II to his 2025 Fringe show, entitled "1 Gay Wedding and Absolutely No Funerals: Reception to Follow" and he looks forward to producing the entire show some day soon!

Ben co-created the digital and live series, The Gay Spelling Bee which is available on YouTube. The show also has a presence at the Cincinnati Fringe Festival where it first became a LIVE gameshow as a part of Fringe Late Night.

Ben's favorite past roles, other than performing in his own work, include Gordon in Dead Man's Cellphone, Prentiss in Peter and the Starcatcher, Edward Chester in Barnaby Rudge, and as one of the three performers in the Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged.

He graduated from Wright State University with his BFA.
