About the Artist

Anissa is an artist, teacher, and organizer in Cincinnati, Ohio creating murals and arts programming. She is dedicated to arts accessibility and the importance of community expression.

In her painting practice, she searches for softness in chaos, reminders of resiliency, and weird, otherworldly forms.

Anissa is also a co-founder and board member of Girls Rock Cincinnati, a summer music camp for gender-expansive teens.
