N.R.G. da NuRa Goddezz is a Cincinnati-born spoken word artist, author, and cultural force with two decades of experience. Known for her electrifying stage presence and unapologetic truth-telling, she fuses raw poetic expression with a bold mix of hip-hop, soul, jazz, and reggae creating a powerful sound she defines as ‘da Nu Revolutionary Genre’.
Her latest album, “iNiRGized Libation Vol II”, created in collaboration with Gianni Di, fully embodies this genre-bending fusion. A mentee of Grammy-nominated poet Queen Sheba through her cohort C.O.D.A.W. and inspired to become a Spoken Word Artist by the legendary Georgia Me, N.R.G. has released three studio albums and two poetry books rooted in themes of social justice, self-discovery, and cultural pride. A Voting Member of the Recording Academy, and founder of ‘Spoken Rhythmz’, a platform uplifting underrepresented artists and connecting communities through poetry, music, and Black-owned business.
