Alyssa Batsakis is a performer, director, producer, acting coach and teaching artist, who works in both the theater and film industries. She holds a BFA from The University of the Arts in Musical Theater. Alyssa returned to the Cincinnati area in 2022 after almost a decade working professionally on the East Coast in Boston, NYC and Philadelphia. Alyssa founded The Ghostlight Stage Company in Greater Cincinnati, where she currently works as CEO/Performing Arts Producer, curating seasons every year that will captivate the community.
As a performer she has worked in famous venues like Ars Nova in NYC and Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in CT helping develop new work and has taken on roles in regional theater companies all across America. She has also appeared on-screen in several independent films and commercials. As a teaching artist and director, apart from The Ghostlight Stage Company, Alyssa has also worked with companies like Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, The Walnut Street Theatre, Cincinnati Arts Association, Storybook Musical Theater, American Legacy Theatre, Cincinnati Actor's Studio and Academy, and more. Alyssa also runs her own private acting coaching business, where she works with students of all ages.
