About the Artist

Aaron Kent was born in Springfield Ohio in June of 1972. He studied commercial art in high school, and studied fine art and sculpture at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. He left the Art Academy after two years and began working at Casting Arts and Technology, a fine art bronze foundry in Cincinnati, where he studied bronze casting, metal fabrication and bronze restoration. He also worked at Suders Art Store learning the skills of framing, matting, and art restoration.

He returned to the Art Academy of Cincinnati in 2008 to finish his degree, and graduated in 2009. He then started a artist based silkscreen co-op called DIY Printing. This is where Aaron currently works as a screen printer printing for artists and other arts organizations, as well as running the fine art based co-op.

Current ceramic work from my series *Stains and Relics*, a body of pieces exploring memory, time, and material transformation, has been shown at the Contemporary Art Center and exhibited at MOCAA, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Miami, Florida. I am deeply appreciative of the opportunity to present this series in such respected venues, where the work can engage with diverse audiences, spark thoughtful dialogue, and find its place within a broader contemporary art context.

A collage of test prints for Dalek from an art show we had the pleasure of curating. Each piece captures a different stage of the creative process, showcasing the experimentation, color exploration, and attention to detail that goes into every print. We screen print fine art and limited poster editions for both local and national artists out of our studio, and it’s always an honor to help bring their work to life in a tangible, handcrafted way. This collection reflects not only Dalek’s unique visual style, but also the collaborative spirit and care that define our printmaking practice.

We create tons of screen-printed merch for our clients, working hard to make them look amazing and feel proud of what they’re wearing. From bold logos to detailed designs, we put real care into every print so the final product truly represents each brand’s personality and message. We screen print for local companies, organizations, and events of all kinds—whether it’s a small business, a community fundraiser, a school team, or a large festival. For every project, we focus on delivering quality merch that not only looks great but also holds up over time. No matter the occasion—staff uniforms, event giveaways, team shirts, or promotional items—we’re grateful to help our clients stand out with custom pieces they’re excited to share.
